Square Foot Art Show and Sale
SSJI’s first-ever Square Foot Art Show + Sale runs January 23 to February 18, 2026 at Arts on Main Gallery in Picton, featuring local artists and photographers inspired by the protection of Prince Edward County’s South Shore. This rare and fragile Key Biodiversity Area is at the heart of the show, and we’re deeply grateful to the artists who support SSJI’s advocacy, education, and outreach work.
Creative Altar Design Workshop
Led by Megan Lumgair of studio free folk, this Creative Altar Design Workshop blends play, presence, and simple design principles to explore the meaning and creation of altars. The experience concludes with a collaborative altar and a guided, contemplative meditation.
Cyanotype Printing with artist Sara Keller
Join PEC artist Sara Keller at Macaulay House for a relaxed, beginner-friendly cyanotype workshop exploring one of photography’s earliest processes. Using botanicals, textiles, and found objects, participants will create 3–5 prints while learning how light and shadow produce cyanotype’s signature deep blue tones.
Connection Wand Experience with Delane Cooper
Artist and goldsmith Delane Cooper guides participants in creating a one-of-a-kind Connection Wand—a personal ritual object for remembering, grieving, and honoring loved ones, dreams, or past selves—using naturally felled branches and simple adornments. This 90-minute, all-level experience takes place at Macaulay House in Picton and is open to ages 16+.
County Classic Bonspiel - Deep Canadiana Edition
The County Classic Bonspiel 2026 is back with a Deep Canadiana theme—an all-skill-level curling weekend focused on fun, community, and supporting PEC Memorial Hospital. Expect curling, off-ice games, auctions, great food, optional spa recovery, and a whole lot of winter cheer in Prince Edward County.
